I have Vista home premium  don't tell me to replace it, but I do agree it is crap.

For some reason I can't post long mesages. I try to describe a problem and when I hit submit it will do something and come to a blank screen and apparently it is "done" loading. I've tried with firefox and IE. the posts never show up.

OK - I won't tell you it is Vista Home Premium........

BUT ,I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale and to help you out I'll take your Vista Home Premium in on trade if you want the bridge,BUT...... you won't have any software for your computer and you might have to go out and buy some new software ! Sorry

I have found that if I am posting a long story or especially an adventure thread with a lot of pics, I type the story in Micorsoft Office then I copy it over to Notepad then copy it from Notepad into the message box on the HAMB. For some reason Notepad sorts out some of the html junk better than Microsoft Office.

I don't know if this will help your problem but its worth a shot...

I had that problem in IE7, I am back to using Mozilla Firefox for that very reason. ChevyGirlRox's suggestion is a good one, I have used Notepad quite a lot to compose it and then copied it into a message.

Something too you might be getting is a connection time out. I have a router and a bridged PPP DSL connection, and I found in XP Pro SP3 that I needed to change the time out setting on the router to "Keep Alive" and set it 180 seconds so the connection never times out. If it set to "Connect on Demand" and "5" minutes, your connection will reset every 5 minutes. I use voice software, so I have to pre-edit things anyway in Notepad,or in my case DragonPad for long messages.
