Ths car looks like it was pretty fricken cool back in the day, had all chrome running gear, it was dismantled back in the 60's and put in storage, came out of San Francisco looks like it was channeled painted a blue-purple with cream and black pinstriping,This is not the car I was looking for but I think I may build this one now? I was looking for a tall T!

Very cool. Is this the car from the lead in the classifieds? Did you get the running gear? Do we get more pics?http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah this is that roadster from the classifieds and let me tell you it was not easy getting to see it , and getting it out was a whole different adventure! The woman that owned it was really cool though , Been around hot rods forever, had some great pics.

That roadster is nice!
Do you think the lady would allow you to borrow a few pictures so you can post them here!
Let her know we appreciate the work done by the rodders who came before us and would love to preserve the memory for all to see...via the NET.
I bet she would be surprised if you came back....she just figures you were after the car and to hell with everything else. I'd be very surprised if she wouldn't agree to your posting the pictures.
With or without pictures....thats a wicked find!!!
Congratulations. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Great find! Now you have to get the history of the car, photos, magazine features etc. That would be one survivor worth "restoring". Can't help but wonder if the rear deck sides are two Crosley front fenders, they have that shape.Deck lid looks like a Model A item. Have fun with it.

I'm not sure what the rear is now the deck lid is not model A? and there are no welds showing inside but it has some of the body lines of my A on the top edge of the rear sides?
