I'll 2nd the Fotki suggestion... I'm using it too. If you give 'em $30 a year, you can have unltd. space. Worth it to me.

Man! I miss the northwest! I grew up in Oregon City! Right on the border of Redland. You got it good out there! I used to visit an old yard right in town on the Hilltop up around the Les Schwab. Is it still there. He had a lot in the front with high fences that had alot of 30's 40's stuff. Is the yard still there?

'Good' one in Caldwell must be the one on highway 30 just east of town? As recently as 20 years ago it was owned by a family I knew. They had bought it in the middle 70s from the estate of an old guy who never sold anything because he knew someday it was going to be worth a fortune.
I only remember two in Caldwell, the other was northwest of town, visible from the freeway, and was crushing cars more than seven years old way back in the 70s. They wouldn't have any good stuff left.
There is (was?) an airport on the northwest side of Caldwell down by the Boise river that had a corner full of old cars. Did you find that? It wasn't a junk yard as such, and I'm sure what never listed in the phone book as such.
I remember a '36 Chevy that looked complete in '72 or '73.
I'm planning to attend a high school reunion there next summer, maybe I'll go looking...
