what to use? 40 i beam

what i have is a 40 ford beam complete with hubs from a 60's rod, mot going to use the brakes, it needs king pin bushing, its been set up for hair pins. o.k. now i have this 65 ford econoline front in good shape,will put disc on the one i will use, what would work the best on a 31 a coupe?

Easier to use the '40,and convert it to a spring over arrangement.
Or move the front crossmember forward.
Might be a touch wide,if your using fenders.

The Econoline axle is set up for parallel leafs.

on the econo axel i was going to make mounts that bolt where the springs went, what do ya think?
