pretty much since i was 18 i've had this list of cars that i want to own - ok the list has been refined and altered slightly but it is still almost true to the day i initally wrote it up
1.Model A Coupe - black- polished firewall, heap of chrome, tan interior (i currently have rails had a dropped beam but sold that for some pingers 'cos i wanted an ibeam)
2.Shelby Cobra 429 darkish blue with white racing stripes
3.71 Chev El camino black 454cc
4.67 Ponntiac GTO (this i changed originally it was a 70 then i saw a 67)
5.71 cheb chevelle black with grey racing stripes
6.40s ford truck (my current project- 47 ford) baby blue -white interior
7.Porsche 911 turbo black- 86 body with later twin turbo motor(this was initially just a stocker till i decided the new motor was a good idea)
8.57 Chevvy Nomad
9. Gullwing Mercedes (now thats outta my range less i win the lottery)
10. mini with twin engines 1 in the rear 1 in the front (halk started this years ago then sold it on to another friend who chopped it - motors went into other cars the rear half got turned into a couch.
11. Mgb rover v8 with supercharger, and bug catcher- british racing green tan interior polished minilite wheels
12. Harley chopper
13. Ducati 916 (got close on this one but brought a house instead - deciding factor was that i was still carrying injuries from writing my other bike off at 180+ km/h - miricle i walked away - let alone with no brakes or serious trauma)
i'm sure some of you guys have got your lists?

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, this is going to take time.
Burgers will need to be consumed (insert "brand" here____)
There will need to be debate over whether it is really "cool" or "KQQL"
Old school or fresh outta Skool!
Can this really be happening to me or am I dreaming?(tm) will apply.
"Tossers" and "Your daughter" comments will be raised.
There will be much angst.
All good things take time and with secret herbs and spices I'm sure the "correct HAMB reply(s)"(tm) will prevail.
Germ (yes we really love him and miss his wit when not posting(tm),,,) will recite poetry and claim to be a reverend whilst cursing the youth of today!
Whilst many ponder it is quite possible Roothawg may still have the worlds slowest Gasser...
Greezy will do mid 10's in the 'A' and then will sell it on Ebay for a kings ransom.
Zeke will provide food for all dressed in a kilt and smiling at everyone at the HAMB Drags and giving Ryan the thumbs up http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You have opened wounds that will be hard to heal.
The HAMB may never be the same again for asking this question......
Best of luck and may the FORD be with you.
Cordially yours,
Cruisin'
P.S. Have I missed anything?
YES!! I want anything that Billy G owns, he rocks, his music rocks and so do his cars.
Oops, here come those nice nurses in white coats again.

When I was 11 years old,my dream car was a brand new 1955 Pontiac Safari wagon.Took me 40 years but I finally got one.One of my other dream cars then was 1952 Oldsmobile 2-door hardtop that a local bodyman chopped. It was beautiful but sadly wound up in the crusher.I could've bought it for $80 with a blown engine but at that time it might as well have been $80 million.I have a 57 Safari that hasn't seen the road or a dragstrip in 25 years and hopefully that will be rectified next year.
I would love to have a highboy Deuce roadster with a mild flatty in it before I die. That is the only car I really lust after;the rest are just passing flirtations.

If I was filthy rich I would have thngs like a Bugatti type 41 hot rod with a juiced up V12 Merlin. Now wouldn't that just make the Pebble Beach crowd freak out. And I would start buying some of those restored Corvettes that the owners all pudwhacky over because it was the only green one with no lighter or some shit, and then I would make gassers or Baja buggys out of them and bring them back to the corvette ralley.
