Portable Jumper/Starter Boxes... Recommendations..??

I'm looking to buy one of those portable 'emergency' jumper/starter boxes....

Anybody have a particular favorite or not-favorite brand..??

Are they as cool and functional as they seem..??

We use one at MarkX's body shop all the time to Start and
run a car with no batt.. Very handy to have around.

My wife bought one at Costco a few years ago. It has an air compressor in it also. I think they it was around $60, and I have had great luck with it.

I used a Mac Tools one a couple weeks ago...guy said it was dead, it jumped my battery in a couple minutes. The other day, I grabbed a Coleman one (from Pep Boys) that was said to be charged...a half hour passed and it hadn't charged Jack. I'd probably go with a better-name type, but not necessarily as high-didj as Mac or Snap-On.

The other option--one I've not yet taken--is to fix your charging system and get a good battery!!!

I have one from Interstate Battery. It got us home one night when our alt took a shit. We would hook it up for 20 minutes and start it up and go till the battery would die again and repeat.
