There are a MILLION (and one) places for chat on the net. Why does each one need on "off topic" area?

Why not take go chat it up in one where it is on topic?

Besides that, you may (or may not) have noticed the lack of ads and blinky things in your face every time you log onto the HAMB. That's because this place is internally funded.

Off Topic takes funds.

I see where you are coming from. It just seems that there is a lot of o/t topics that are relevant and quite a few that are not.. ( do we really need to know where the best haircuts are or if your car is male or female?) I also acknowledge that this is a private site and privy to moderators views as to what is relevant or not... Thanks for the info though.

and I agree that the Thread about the male & female Cars isn't the best or most relevant one I've ever seen...
