help to decoding vin#ford galaxie

i have no idea how to decode vin#,of a car im interesting to buy.it is 0u61N108689.please help me:)

First # is the year, letter is where it was made, next 2 numbers is body style, next letter is engine, the last 6 numbers are the serial. From what I found the N motor doesn't fit if it is a 1960 (I couldn't find any info on 1970 VINs)

Is it a 1960 2 door wagon?

1970 engine code 'N' = Thunder jet 429. Doesn't appear to be a '61' body code on 1970:):D

No. it is a 1970 Ford Galaxie Convertible. Cab, and the engin is 429. Problebly somethimg wrong whit the code. I was intressed to now if it was org. 429?
