Vernon, Tejas the aftermath- pics

Got back from Vernon, Texas Sunday and had a blast. Some hambers showed up including 54 Studebaker in his T-Bird with the sweet Y-Block. Yall missed a great time and if you have never been you have got to go. I seen pics and videos of last year and I had to see it for my self. I have never seen this many old cars and hot rods cruising down a street at one time. It was great. I took my Coupe and had a blast. was really worried about it getting hot but it did fine. I have been to alot of car functions but this is by far the coolest cruise I have ever been to. The town was also great with very nice poeple ready to great you. Most towns don't like the lowd pipes but Vernon loves it. I did not take alot of pics as I was having a blast cruising up and down the drag, but here are a few of the topless nuts gang and our hangout. Can't wait till next year.

Gary's Rambler. I don't think Vernon would be Vernon if Gary's Rambler did not break down. Drove the first hour and Gary Broke down. Made it to Vernon and he broke down again. Thanks God for 5 gallan gas tanks and Wal Mart. Seems ro save Gary everytime. We made it home and had a blast though.

That T-Bird was sweet. Was other cool rides but was having so much fun cruising my own.

No El Rusto did not make it and I am still mad at him. He was supposed to go but had other plans. Maybe I can talk him into going to Sammy Walkers Thursday night. Where are you going to school? Oh and the weather was great. I think it got maybe 88 Saturday was real cool at night.

It is 60 miles north west of Wichita Falls Texas. Or south of Amarillo, Tx about 2 hours i believe. You really ought to plan on going it is great.
