Alameda car show is on Park St., and its pretty fun. Low key, walk with the girl/ kids/ dog, what ever. Have a waffle at Ole's and then take off.

Actually, there are two cool Saturdays in row for the Bay Area:
*This Saturday, October 11th:
Alameda- Park St. Classic Car Show 8am - 4pm
400+ old cars on the main drag. Casual show, pedestrian friendly. Free to spectate.

San Francisco- Blessing of the Cars at Thee Parkside 2pm -6pm
Put on by The Last Originals Car Club
Don't know too much about this event, but it might be fun.
*Next Saturday, October 18th:
"Pumpkin Smash 400" Enduro & Halloween Destruction Derby (evening event)
You will get dirty. You will loose your voice, yelling. You will have fun.

I'll be at work. Jay, think you'll be stoked.
I'll let the others know about the shows.
Gusano - we need to hook up. Couple of weeks and I'll invite all you guys down to the new shop.

So Hot Rods at the beach is this weekend? Cool I may have to shlep up there for that as it looks like I'll be giving the bay area a miss this time around.
Sean what new shop? Is the OMP posse welcome to check it out?
Gusano: We need to hang out some time if I ever get a car running again....

Had a great time in Alameda today. Saw some old friends, hooked up with Jay and Gibson and checked out the cars. A fun low key gathering. Alameda is the perfect venue for this type of deal.
Thanks for the post last night.
