Basically I'm lazy. Haven't bothered to measure for what I need yet and thought this post might save me a trip home before I swing by the parts store after work.
Motor is an 8BA with wide belt stuff on the front...no offset generator or anything, just truck pumps and pulleys. If you can help I'm stoked, if not I'll just do what I should have done before I left for work this morning.

I am just as lazy as Grimlok! I would like to know the belt length for a 59AB with the wide pulley and generator in the stock location. Anyone?

Ok maybe not as lazy....Napa has the belt as part #:
NBH2524538
the measurements are 54 and 3/8" x 3/4"
That is for a 1946 ford belt that goes to the generator and water pumps.
Just checked the site again for the later truck engine which is I think your configuration. It calls for the same measurement.
I hope this helps.

Don't know if this will catch you before you head home. My truck engine 8BA/8RT uses the following NAPA belts.
(25) 20544
(25) 26366
wide belt, stock setup
