Glass that is...I'm a glassblower running a glass studio at a craft school in North Carolina. I'm a recent transplant from Brooklyn NY, Cleveland OH and grew up in Iowa!!!

Working on a 1948 Dodge Town Sedan, and loving every minute of it! This is my first car project, and I'm learning everyday...but I guess that's the point huh? Should have all the side glass in this weekend, as long as the weather holds out, because I'm doing this car outside (no garage).

So far I've:
Replaced coil, rotor condensor, plugs, plug wires, windshields, carburator and re-wired the lights. Painted the rims, got new tires, ground the tires into WWW, did the lettering on the side of the car, freshened up the paint with a rattle can, and gave her some patina.

Here she is:

Loose the rear bumper and replace it with something purrrtier. That thing is hideous. But I love the rest of the car.

That's not even a rear bumper, it's the sheet metal that goes between the bumper (which I don't have) and the car

Welcome to the forum, Slategrove! Cool Dodge. Gotta get those old Mopars out of the barns and on to the road. Glass blower huh?? Not a widely popular career, but I am sure it has it's rewards.

No one ever told me in art school that there were gonna be rewards...oh except the next 30 years of student loan repayment!!! No really, I love it, it's not even fair to call it a job, cause it doesn't suck like all the other jobs I've had. You can check out my work on my website at:

I just paroused a 48 Dodge moredoor with the suicide rear doors last night. "$500 bucks or it's going to the crusher" the guy says. Fuck him. It needed work, but was all kinds of good lookin. Welcome aboard.
