TH400 trans cooling lines?????

I bought some stainless steel tubing, 3/8 w/.35 thickness. I'm going to use this for the fuel line, but was also thinking for the Trans cooling lines as well. Is it OK??? Not sure what is the rule of thumb is for this. Thanks for any info/help.

They use 5/16 lines for trans cooler.
