Ok forgive my stupidity, but I've just painted my roadster with a flat black enamel tractor store version of blitz black and it looks great.
My question is this; whats the best way to clean up overspray?
Also whats the best way to keep it clean after I get mud and bird crap on it?
I dont want to make it look any glossier just smooth out the overspray and future clean ups.

I'm sure someone will disagree with me, for keeping it clean, go to the car wash and use the degreaser/whitewall/engine cleaner...over time it will give it that "lived in" look so many people like...(you know, the blue/brown patina)

after you get it striped with red and white "old skool" designs, don't use the degreaser stuff, it'll eat the striping paint right off the car.

Thanks http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
there is a little overspray around the decklid its minor but it feels a little rough when you run your hand over it, I wanted to smooth it out some but not change the finish (I get a lil carried away with sandpaper) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Probably going to hit it again so I guess it doesnt really matter, just want to make sure it looks good.

If your going to shoot some more Black, try a different over-lap with your spaying. Start in the middle, front to back compete, full gun of paint. Just a tip. I would like to see it in the sun when yer done. I plan on spaying a SWB Chev with similar product---- Ag. Semi-Flat Blk.
