A 1963 Lincoln Continetal Convertible. This car is awesome, very little rust, most of it is surface, and will be gone in no time. Car starts right up, after messing witht the choke. But the car didn't have any brakes. Til today, we pulled the master cylinder out, and it looks like it just needs to be cleaner or rebuilt. I'll do that tomorrow. Other than needing new cover, the entire top assembly, and hydraulics are there, but the hydraulics aren't hooked up. The guy I bought it from said he's never tried them. Car has a mild exhaust manifold leak, but nothing major.
You can check out some pictures here. Not very good, As after manuvering a car with no brakes, and getting it on jack stands, i was a bit tired.

A more modern T tub,I love it,carpet kit and alittle cleaning and get it down in the grass and youve got a sweet ride. Is that a 2 barrel carb on that engine? Good looking ride, good luck with the hydraulic and electromics.

I had a 61 lincoln contintal conv. in 1964 was a dusty Rose metalflake with white leather interior had a 430 with a two barrel carb got 15-16 mpg highway and 9 around town. gas was about 25 cents a gallon.
my first wife used to drive with the top down and the air blowing, seems she liked the air conditioning duct under the steering column shooting up her mini skirt http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
get a shop manual before your start working on the top solenoids and relays. they are nice when they work but a bitch to work on. they differ from the t-birds of the same era, because they have electric screws on the front. you don't have to release anything. just hit the button and watch the show
there are solenoids to roll the rear door windows down and up as you open the rear doors. more cool stuff
