I am working on installing a big block chevy into my tri-five 56 chevy. I'm putting in a 540ci with rack and pinion steering. But, the unisteer rack and pinion I bought doesnt clear the oil pan and wont bolt in. The kit said it was for a small block only so I called uni-steer and they said it would work, only the pinion arm itself would need to be changed. Can anyone help me with my situation and is there a big-block rack and pinion kit??? Thanks, Jim
