Does anyone have any info or more pics of this 1941 Chevy Pickup? I've emailed the address on the page and haven't heard anything back.

I'm in the build on my '41 cab, custom frame, '62 Buick Invicta Drivetrain (401 nailhead). Looking for stuff like suspension, wheelbase, Trackwidth, and what not.

Thanks all for the help and I'll get some pics up soon.

You're not any of those things. Just honest.

You got to get your first one from somewhere right? Anyway I didn't purposely rank it 5stars, and would change it if I could figure out how. Anyway it jumps out and got your reply. Which will hopefully accomplish my goal of finding out some info on that '41

I have seen it a couple of times around town. I only have one thing to say about it, it sounds good.

Liked it much better with steel wheels, painted kinda red.

I'm not a buyer of the billets either. Steelies for sure! I like the stance of being layed out when parked.
Here is my cab, and i plan to leave it as is, patina and all, ditching all of the big truck stuff. I'd like to know more about this guys '41. I'm not going to use a factory frame of any sort, I'll fab it all. As for steering, pretty sure I'll be using a manual MustangII rack as I have one off of my oldman's '49 that he used before I swapped in powersteering. Still haven't decided on a front grill yet. I'm not sold on the Ford grill, I'm thinking maybe a Farmall tractor grill. We'll just have to see what looks good.

Call me old fashioned but I think even if you aren't going to put anything in it a truck still oughta have a bed.
Not a bad truck overall, could use a change or two but it isn't mine soooo...

looks like it's common practice to use these cabs to build an older looking hot rod. Anyone know how much of a size defferent there were between these cabs and the 30's cabs? I had thought about doing something liek the one right above this post, but was unsure what the end result would look like....Anymore pics of that truck Butt????

Hey Butt, where do I get a Sta-Lube decal like that? Maybe a little smaller even?

Thanks,

Neal

that truck along with a couple others like this one i found looking around on here may have just changed my mind about the direction of the truck I just picked up...How much is the size difference between the 30's cabs and the 40's cabs?
Who's truck is this, and what did it start out as?

Rudy should start printing t shirts.

Jivetalker could organnize it, Rudypalooza 2005. That last truck may be the best copy yet.

There's a guy in the local bar here, he sounds just like Henrix. Good guitar player but he's not Hendrix. Lets here Purple Haze one more time.
