One of New Englands largest Sunday papers has the HAMB featured on the front page of the Automotive Section, under the headlines 'Online, There's a forum for every model.' From the quotes and description it is quite obvious the author spend atleast a litte time on the board. He also talks about the HAMB drags in MoKan. Here comes a new wave of NEWBIEs...

Well, they hit the nail on the head for us - this from the article:

The H.A.M.B. is entirely focused on the ''rat rod."

From the Boston Globe... The are are forums for everything.

The H.A.M.Bwww.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php Top-level forums: 4

Registered users: 5,107

Big, big fun. The H.A.M.B. is an online forum of the Jalopy Journal. As the Jalopy Journal's homepage states, the H.A.M.B. is ''the internet's biggest garage. Our tech articles are greasy, our members are hoodlums, and these editorials still aren't for sale."

The H.A.M.B. is entirely focused on the ''rat rod."

Unlike the heavily chromed, big dollar ''street rods" you may see flying across the Barret-Jackson auction block for northward of $400,000, these are hot rods built on the cheap.

The forums are few, but the activity is hoppin'. Unlike several of the other forums, there is much more human contact outside the confines of the Internet.

Every year, the forum coordinates a drag racing weekend where forum members can get to know each other. This year's event is at MoKan Dragway in Asbury, Mo., and the forum has a whole weekend's worth of activities planned for late in August.

So you don't have to find it.

Should we really quick post a bunch of nonsensical unrelated posts to divert the attention? Maybe talk up the roundtable and all the other forums so they go there? Let Germ loose as moderator for a few days? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A Real Bostonian can't even afford a real "Rat Rod" All their car money goes to the Landlord and the parking spot in a Garage!(if lucky enough to find one) Though unless ur lucky have your ride up in Fitchburg Mass. Nice set up there MassButcher!! you should post pics..

Great. Just what we need, an influx of massholes.
Miserable bastards.
Sorry, bast-eds.
(I've noticed the Weymouth accent is distinctly different from the Boston accent)
