First one looks good, the 4x4 is, well out of place.
My grandpa has a couple 50 dodges on my farm here that i want to fix up someday. I grew up in the bed of those dodges, they are the reason I became interested in hot rods.

I like the 54. I used to have one with a 383/torqueflite and the stock 4.88 rear end. It ran like stink up to about 65 when the steering went into convulsions. I eventually put power steering from a chevy 4x4 and an olds tilt column. It was my shop truck, flat red with a push bumper and in the winter 1000# of sand and chains. I had to use it to bump start a Budweiser truck once.
I got it with the 383 already in it but it had taken major firewal surgury to make it fit.

I'd swap the wheels, those wagon wheels don't look so out of place on a 4x4, and mabye make a cool tube bumper for it, too, lose the late model chrome monster. Cool trucks, though...

Thanks guys. The 54 is my wife's truck. It has a 360 with an auto. It has a 5th Ave clip, with the cross torsion bars and an 8 3/4 with 3:23 gears. Not really much of a hot rod, but I'm hopeing to be able to rebuild the 360 over this winter to help it out a little. This truck travels over 10,000 miles every summer.
The back bumper on the 50 happened to show up for $5 when i needed to put something there, I haven't decieded what will be there long term. The 50 is mounted on an 80 Dodge 4x4 frame, 360/auto/3:55 gears. The 4x4 frame was from a snow plow. The cab and front clip came from a 2 ton dump truck. I have built the cab mounts, the cab floor, the front fenders are my creation as well as the bed sides and the tail gate. It's been 2 years getting to this point, I need to use it this winter. If I stumble across some cheap wheels, maybe it will get them, but it needs a new windshield worse. Gene
