flathead parts swap?

Can the flathead parts from the earlier style...ie 59AB motors swap parts from the 8BA? Like heads and such...

Yes heads can be swaped but it involves blocking off the extra water holes.Top side distriburter can be used but must change cam gear, I havent personaly done this but i keep up with a couple flathear sites thats where my info cames from.I have three runing flathesds but other than Eld.heads and dules pertty much stock in my f-1s
