Ferrari - yep, someone building a replica 288GTO body on a 308GTS.

I know it's not the sort of cars we like, but look at the photos. This guy is building all the replica parts out of sheetmetal and such with very little money, and it's going on a Ferrari that cost less than most Toyota Camrys. Lots of creativity to get the parts done, with the added pressure that those parts have to look like the real deal to avoid being cheesy.

That guys real brave, I Dont think I'd have the nerve to cut up a Ferrari. I guess because I've always wanted a 308 or 328.

Not that I don't respect a guy who can fabricate like that, but what is the difference between this and me putting Olds Rocket valve covers on my SBC?

I like the irony in tinkering with Ferraris and this picture

It would be like putting the olds covers on, then removing the Rocket lettering, and replacing it with a pressed bowtie emblem.

It's restyled by using cues from three different Ferraris, but not claiming to be any of them. They guy claims he will keep the original badging on the back of the car and no pretend it's something that it isn't.
