TECH WEEK WINNER(S)!

First place? Brian and I decided NealinCA's frame tech was just a perfect tech post - it showed that you don't have to have Boyd Coddington's frame jig to set up a frame correctly... You can do anything with a little smarts. Congrats Neal. You win a timing tag and a kick ass Weesner poster.

Honorable mention goes to Kustom Builder and Skipstich for their plain ole resourcefullness. They will also be getting timing tags.

Finally, 60's style wins a timing tag for all of his posts in the last 6 months or so... Seems like it is always tech week for that guy.

Many of us spend our life trying to grab the elusive golden ring of fabrication quality. Paul and others like him...they FAB the GOLDEN RINGS themselves...from stuff others have cast off, in their own style and they even pick the Goddamn color!

There were a lot of great Tech Week posts this time around. I think they all deserve some credit and hopefully they will end up in the Tech'omatic.

I know that it has been other people's TECH posts that keep me going on my project. Guys like Paul (60's style) are a true inspiration.

Neal admitted himself that he decided to post in part because I requested photos of his supension.

The last tech week winner was Titus, who posted because I requested pictures of his dropped axles. I was, to my knowledge, his first customer.

So while I certainly had nothing to do with the hard work behind the tech, I'd like to think of my contribution as more nebulous.

Perhaps I'm like a muse, a beautiful maiden whipsering in the ear of the artist, inspiring him to greatness. Minus the beautiful maiden part. And the whispering.
