FORD six two carb intake

A friend found me a fenton two carb intake for a 223 six cyl.and i was wondering if i should run two stock carbs or two smaller carbs? anyone know a source for 1 bbl. carbs? also a source for split headers for the same motor

Run two of the stock Holley 1 bbls and you'll be in good shape. I have two of those manifolds plus two made by Edmunds for the same application. I'll be running one of the Fenton manifolds with two glass bowl Holleys and a Fenton fuel block on a '55 223 in my '32 pick up.

I don't want to hijack this post, but are the intakes and exhaust manifolds of the 223 and the 215 interchangeable?

Zor, I usually pick up those Holley 1bbls at swap meets for $15-$20 whenever I see them. I bought a rebuilt one from Checker Auto ($120.00) a few years ago and from what I understand they are still available, although I've heard that their rebuilds have been kind of hit or miss lately.

4t64rd, yes, the intake and exhaust manifolds are interchangeble between the 215 the 223 and the 262. I'm not really looking to sell any of the manifolds that I have. Offy still makes both dual 1bbl and triple 1bbl manifolds for those motors and Clifford still makes a bunch of stuff for them also (various manifolds, headers,etc.).
