Detroit Area HAMBers bash this Saturday!!!!

To help soothe the GAYNESS of living in Michigan, I invite anyone interested to drop in at my favorite bar this Saturday (October 11) evening for some good times along with Wine, Women & Song!

(Okay...you might have to settle for Beer, Barmaids and Bullshit!)

I'll try to cop a couple tables in the billiards section and we can hang out for a few hours. I'll draw some cars and Hack-toons for y'all and we can drink beer, get rowdy and play pool for high stakes!

The bar is on the Fraser/Roseville border....on 13 mile between Hayes and Grosebeck on the East Side...it's called "Pub Froggy"...South side of 13 mile not far from the railroad tracks. Nice little joint with cold beer and EXCELLENT eats!!

Anyone gonna make it? Or do I get the place to myself?

Thanks for the invite but I will be heading to the Hunnert Car PileUp in IL tomorrow after work. I believe MrGasser, a few of the Detroit Draggins, KustomBuilder, CherryBlossom, HotRodDrummer, maybe Roadstar are also all going from Michigan. Have fun though.

That's my OLD neighborhood! Went to Tom Dooley Elementary and caught frogs by the bucketful in the ditch. South side of of 13 Mile Rd. next to the tracks. that brings back some memories of taping pennies to the tracks, building forts, etc. Family moved to FL and I went with them (I was 13 and unemployed), in '77.

Maybe that's why it's name Pub Froggy?

I was in 8th Grade a Kennedy Jr. in 77, the only teacher I remember was my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Ogden. I lived on Hennigan, a few blocks away, you have to be from my old neighborhood if you went to Dooley. Who the hell are you?

okay, the brett michaels show is this saturday (oct 11th.) should be pretty fun...he's supposed to be playing all old poison songs... they get all sorts of wierd old hair bands rolling through this bar. great white just played last night. let us know if you're thinking of coming up...

Hey Fat Hack, thanks for the invite, but this weekend is kinda booked. I would be interested in future get togethers. If you ever get an itch to drive into Flint, there is 2 more saturday cruises going on in the area, Hardees on Corunna Rd.at I-75 on Saturday the 11th 5pm, and A&W in Flushing, not far from the I-75 / Pierson Rd. exit, on the 18th at 5pm. If you plan on coming in town, let us Flintowners know. Don't worry, not all the Flint HAMBers are youngsters (haha) I remember the 70's and 80's.

Linda LaDuke lived down the street on Hennigan. Jimmy's little sister I suppose. I was at 30617.

I was in Linda LaDuke's back yard, with Jimmy and Tommy Schafke (you might have know Tommy's little brother David) and we were pushing one of the many gutted engineless VWs turned Dune Buggys they had, and I found a bungee cord, I put one end under my foot and stretched it towards my face... You know what happened next, emergency trip to the eye doctor to get my cornea drilled to get the dirt out, I was a pirate for a week.
