Alright, I was waiting 'til I had some pix of the just blown aqua scallops and silver pins (courtesy of myself) but I'll just throw out the most recent pics. My name is Kevin, I live in Austin, TX and have been into racing/rods all my life.My dad, uncles, and grandpa raced and built lowriders, so it's in the blood. This is my first classic so far. It's a '62 Imp with a straight 6. So far, I've done all the aqua, including the steelies, the moons, valve covers. Perfomance wise I've put in a glass pack with a 2 1/2 pipe and replaced the points with an electronic ignition. Eventually when I get the bones, I'm hooking up a Clifford header and Weber double carb conversion. Looks wise, I'm dropping it 3' with springs from Classic Industries and putting in Energy Suspension bushings and a sway bar. I want to spray it pearl white, but money again. I have nosed/shaved/decked and blended the trunk chrome into the fascia. So anyway, here I am.
