My project car is intended to be a representation of what I think some kid would've made in 1950 in California as a driver but also something he could run on weekends at the salt lakes. The basic concept is this; a model T bucket (actually the front end of the 26 touring), a pickup box mounted on 32 rails with a 40 cross member, a dropped 40 front end, and the banjo rear end, Lincoln brakes all round, and wide white walls mounted on 35 wire wheels. I'm running a 59 A flatty with dual carbs, headers and aluminum heads. Some concessions to technology include 12 volt system, electronic ignition and a T5 transmission. I plan to paint the whole thing with rattle cans and brushes. The flatty will get a mild rebuild, and my intention is to have a nice driver that's well behaved and not want to be wrenched every time I turn around. I'd like some suggestions regarding a number of things. Does anyone have input as to electronic ignition modules ,that is to say Mallory vs. MSD. Any thoughts regarding the various flatty to T5 transmission adapter kits? Any thoughts about tail lights? I plan amount headlights on the shock absorber brackets, any ideas? Thanks for your input.

Welcome to the Hamb... You may want to post your questions to the Main board... Generally folks don't read this thread to much and questions go unnoticed
