I keep pretty mobile between Ogden UT and Evanston WY and in a few months I'll be in Laramie, WY so its hard to say where I'm at and have it hold true for any length of time

So i decided to join up when since i'm starting on my first project, a 1936 Plymouth, and i figure i'll need help doing just about every thing. I was hoping my brother would be of more help but he's got so many projects of his own, i'm starting to realize i'll be doing a lot of reading and figuring things out on my own.

So yeah thats me, very little knowledge, inadequate tools, minimal working space. just figured i might could get a few pointers here and there on my journey :)

Welcome to the HAMB, lots of info to picked up around here if you watch/look for it. Don't know much about the goings on in UT and WY.

There is quite a bit here in Colorado which is close enough for you get involved on occasion I'm sure.

What style is your '36 Plymouth build, Rod, Sled ?

Again welcome, Johnnie.

yeah colorado is close enough, i used to have friends in Gunnison but they went and moved :( jerks!

So i'm new to all this and i'm not sure what constitutes a Rod or Sled so i'll just tell you my plans and you can tell me

Its got a 3'' top chop started already and i'm in the process of pulling the original inline 6 and am going to put a big block in it. (i don't have the money to restore the original engine and the big block is free to me :) then i'm going to lower it put a new rear axle and probably a whole new front end, take the fenders off, redo the sun roof, put wood flooring in the interior with bench seats and wood siding, keeping the original dash, turn the truck into a rumble seat and I'm not sure about paint yet... i haven't got that far

oh and 12 spoke tires in the front and not sure what in the back yet, oh and we are going to dump the exhaust right out side the front door... anything else i haven't quite made up my mind.

Welcome to the HAMB. I'm in Taylorsville, down near SLC.

The big Thanksgiving Point swap meet is coming up May 17. Always a great place to find parts.

Good luck with your project and ask lots of questions.

welcome, I just rode my Harley threw that area last year. Washington to Colorado and back. Beautiful country, now need to get the 56 Effie done so I can go back in that!
