I've got a chance to pick up a very clean 56' Cadillac bumper and grill. I offered the owner 100.00 and he said to go little higher. How high should I go before it doesn't make sense? It's this year.-stick
depends on what its worth to you. how bad do you need it? i could see around the 250 range

Found a used '54 grille (similar to '56) around here...asking price was $150.00 for grille only...a '56 bumper CORE (needed rechroming bad) was going for $75.00, however at a swap meet this spring, some dude had two '56 Dagmars only, in excellent shape and he wanted $250 EACH! He's probably still got them too!
What's the chrome like on them? The grille straight?

Super straight. It still has the gold Caddy script. Probably could make it shiny with light steelwooling.

Together, both good...probably upwards of $300/400...if you get it at 200 or so, you've stolen it.
Do you have a use for it? Is it just these parts or are there more parts from the same car available? The reason I ask is "we" are building a '54 Coop DeVille (and need a few minor parts) and a '48 Caddy Sedanet.
