Seeing as though the valve covers are painted green...why is the air cleaner not green as well as the gas tank? dude you can paint the trim rings with a transparent green paint as well. During Christmas you can do a whole Grinch that stole hubcaps thing.

I guess you're right...the contrast works...I just haven't gotten around to painting yet...still need more bodywork on my T. I am not one of those "everything has to be primer" guys...I'm more of one of those "everything has to smell like maple syrup" guys...either way...it looks good.
Are you driving it now as an everyday?

Hey Mike I forgot to ask you how the GB handled in the pouring rain with those slicks.

Antibilly

Tim currently My drive to work is about 100 yards so it sleeps in the shop most nights.
Nads It handled fine. I didnt take any corners at 50 mph nor did I floor it a red lights.
I could feel my balls floating that day it was raining so hard!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We gotta see if the longer shannon cones I got will fit the rear wheels, they'd be perfect on the GB. You still have the 2 extra short ones right?

Antibilly

Do not sell them! You should have gotten your "birds" by now.

Antibilly

The birds are in. I traded one to the guy who made the linkage.
So tell one eye I owe him the whole sale price agreed on wink wink.
Im gonna paint them up this week with some rattle can and clear coat and put em out for sale
They outta bring 30 bucks each

So you ain't gonna risk it on the GB huh? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Post some pictures after you paint them (I wouldn't have to tell this to anyone else, but take them outdoors when you take the picture http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

When I get back from MI, I'm going to make up a limited edition, super special, highly collectible, HAMB hoodlum auction items out of a couple, like Steve did.
