Hi everyone just wanted to say hi. Looks like a good place to learn here. I have a 1928 Roadster Pick Up that my Grandfather bought new . I'd like to keep it looking pretty stock (except for changing it over to 16" wheels and tires) But I would like to warm the engine up so I am less of a moving target on the road..Any ideas on what might be a good setup. Trying to avoid spending a boat load of money if I can..Thanks Tim

Welcome from Cuyahoga Falls.. Sounds like a great project! Especially since your grandfather bought it new!! WOW.

Welcome. This is a tough place to be from time to time, but grin and bear it. Trying NOT to spend money on a hot rod usually doesn't pan out to well. Hope to see ya out there.

Watch for the monthly Banger meeting, there you can get all the info on making the 4 cyl go faster. As far as the 16s, check out the classifieds, they pop up from time to time. Post some pics if you get the chance.

Welcome to the Hamb. Buckeye's right about hotrodding anything is never cheap. If I were you I would keep that engine stock at this point and wait until..
1. You are ready to throw some serious cash at the engine or...
2. Find another hot rod and keep that heirloom as is.

Your pickup sounds like something that I'd love to find. Anyway, welcome from Akron. Do you know Zack and Pat?
