Was given this the other day. I have NO clue what it's from. The local experts were stumped as well.
I thought tractor at first but there is unfaded paint where the fenders bolted up. The headlights mounted directly to the shell. I've seen it somewhere but just can't remember...If you have any clue just jump in.

one more...the bars were chrome at one time as was about 2" of the shell itself.
Just stuck it in front of my pile to see if it would look right or not.

These guys before me are partly right. It's GM and from the 30's, but it's not a custom insert, that's a Maple Leaf Grille from approx. 34-36 I think. How's things going Shane?? Evan

Not a custom insert. That grill was born that way. Here's a back side shot.
Nice call Evan but I don't think so. Would have never thought to look at Maple Leaf. Diamond T is very close but still different. This shell had a round emblem and tear drop shape rad filler cap. The quest continues...
Evan, tried calling you but keep getting da machine. Let me know if those parts still interest you.

These ones COULD be stainless I guess. Didn't look that hard at it.
And here I was thinking about passing it along. Still, it's gonna bug me till I know what it's from... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
