I have been building unique vehicles for years.
My present vehicle is known as the "OUTLAW". It is a 1940 Ford Pickup with a supercharged 400 SB running thru a B&M tubo 400 into a Dana 70 3:55 rear. It was built on a S10 frame. I thought someone who builds or drives trucks might be interested.
My good friend Bud Beem and I worked on hot rods together. He did exceptionally well since he was totally blind. His work fascinated Don Garlits who has a bulletin board in his Ocala Florida museum. Bud built 10 top class cars blind. One of his fastest rods was a fiberglas 34 Chevy chopped sedan with a BDS blown modified 400. A buddy of his was driving this car and raced a new viper and dusted it, and when the guy caught him at a rest stop, he couldn't believe how fast it was. This car had one nasty idle.
Bud also thought my truck was very quick as he helped put on the blower. One ride had him grinning ear to ear.
Incredible don't you think.
