Well, it looks like I'm going to be moving back to the people's repooblik of Ozark...don't wanna talk about that.
The promised tech article on the brake conversion is gonna be a bit later, im havin to wrestle with that, as well as trying to get the bread to get my stuff moved back here from Tennessee...
If my figures are right, the volume of the brake fluid moved by the individual resivoirs from the master cylinder originally from a '67 coupe deville should be more than enough to provide adequate pressure to the wheel cylinders on a '56 pontiac...no? I have the pedal mounted, it allows the rod to travel the entire distance neccessary to make the master cylinder do it's job, stops just 1/4" from the floor, I have bled the master cylinder, the brake lines, adjusted the brakes (per rocky's advice) and have fluid at all four corners...yet....NO FREAKIN BRAKES!!! I'm gonna get this figured out and workin, there is NO reason it SHOULDNT work...
I have more important things to do, like gettin the boy's TT up and runnin, than worryin about something that USED to be so simple for me....like brakes http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I'm gonna make Hangin Dice, if I have to use the PARKING brake to get there...
