:rolleyes:Don't you hate it when time slips away from you and you realize you forgot to put on your pants before leaving the house AND post your welcome message to the HAMB?

Hi, I am Debra Blue. Many of you know my husband Lux (I still call him Arlo). He is a car fanatic, I just have a fondness for early 60's cars and some other random vehicles. I own the following: 1963 Bel Air, 1964 Starfire (which he claims as his own, but it was purchased for me), my grandfather's old Forestry Service truck: 1938 Ford 1.5 ton, and well, I admit it, a 1992 Bronco ("Nite" package).

We started working on the Starfire together about 5 years ago, but realized that he is not used to teaching chicks and I really don't take direction from him well. We dropped the project for a while, then found a Bel Air that needed much less work. Needless to say, we have finally figured out how to work together and I could not be happier about it.

We have been working on the Bell for about 7 months now. Looks like I will be driving her to the Lonestar Roundup this year. She'll be prettier next year , I promise ;)

There goes the neighborhood!:)

The '63 is coming along nice. Angie was impressed with the get up and go that the motor had. Maybe there's still hope for her wanting a quick car some day. Doubt it, but maybe.

Not sure what "Ass by Peterbuilt" is referring to. Does it mean your ass is big? cause it's not. Does it mean you've got 15 speeds and can handle a big payload? cause that's a lot more interesting.

Wait, Lux Blue is your real name?

Man, what are you doing messing with cars. Id be a lounge singer, or a movie star. Thats a name you can get some serious mileage outta!

Welcome Mrs. Blue.

Hey Buzzard: Not sure what "Ass by Peterbuilt" is referring to:

Pick one:
1. Go to the gym with me. I DARE you.
2. I compare myself to model 330 -> a workhorse known for its quality construction, rugged durability and outstanding resale value
3. I've got 15 speeds and can handle a big payload

So, back to the Bell, tell Angie thank you for the compliment. I'll find out how much "get up and go" it has between now and Day of the Drags!

I'm scared to go the gym with my wife, I'm certainly not going to try to hang with you.

You can have fun until the Drags, but you won't find out how much until after you make your first pass. But you'll be comfortable with the car by then, so it'll be easy.
