Kids,
Gather round a little Papa Rash lay a little story down on ya.
When I was a young lad growing up in Iowa I loved to ride my bike.
Now, I have two siblings, a younger brother and a sister younger than him.
Well, one day I was getting ready to go ride my bike and my sister decided she wanted to come along. No problem.
My brother was put on this earth to destroy everything that anyone tries to keep together. Having ripped his bike to shreds, he had been riding my sisters bike earlier that day.
So, my sister and I take off down the HUGE hill that we lived on and as I feather the brakes on my bike she goes flying past me, screaming like she is on fire.
Seems my brother broke her brakes and neglected to mention it.
Well, Sis hit a curb and caught a phone pole, with her face.
Broke her nose, knocked her front teeth out and I swear to GAWD, she looked just like that truck!

Yep, another car from the Classical gas station. They are very overpriced, but hell, I like that damn thing. It needs work, but that's the fun part.
I sense hostility again.

The ugly parts are all the left-over Ford parts... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Let's face it. Until the pastel hickup graphic 80's, those fencer's mask Ford trucks were considered the ugliest trucks not built by Dodge.
So someone had one that refused to quit running so he had fun with the body...!?? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK, here's the hostility Crew: if you like it so much, you buy it and let the whole HAMB board see what you can do with a sow's ear...I know it can be done, but to me, on that particular truk, that's just a waste of good time, good money and good energy...hopefully it'll R.I.P. on Classical Gas' lot.

I bet the builders Momma thought it wuz purty!! Are those early Caddy tailfins grafted to the back fenders? Who can account for tastes, he probably thinks my cars are ugly.

I recognize it....Thats Jed Clampetts truck, did'nt you see the episode where he and Granny took the truck to Barris and said make it look like Ms. Hathaway?
I guess to each his own, obviously it took some time and fabbin gto make that thing, its just not to my taste. Kinda like why I love early classic coacbuilt/customs and am not to hip on 60's showcar wacky stuff like Cushenberry's cars (great fabber and respect the skill, JUST NOT MY THING)

That truck has shown up on the HAMB many times. It has been for sale a long time, and easy to tell why. The price is too high to bother with, it will be as much work as a $500 project.
