i wish the guys that create these virus's would spend their time doing something productive ..instead of causing all these problems... maybe it's the people that sell the security products do it to make business for themselfs?
not trying to hi-jack this post, but you guys seam like you know about this stuff.. i have: spyware blocker , spamblocker , pop-up blocker , BOTH Norton and AVG antivirus protection , a firewall , i usually have my browser set NOT to accept cookies ,i have junk mail filters on my email , i only open emails that i am expecting , never open an attachment , never click on a link , only go to websites i trust (ebay , jalopy journal , fordbarn ,RRT , street rodding.com... a couple other hot rod sites....NEVER ANY PORN)....and yet i had three virus's just yesterday...how do they get in? is there anything else i can do?
I highly recommend using another browser over Internet Explorer. Maybe Mozilla or Firefox. http://www.mozilla.org/
I know there are still quite a few exploits in IE and they keep putting Service Pack 2 off...
I also personally use a Mac...
