Steve...it's a big deal over here and I know a few guys that are planning on attending. Too bad the nationals fall on Bonneville speed week. That's where I'm planning on being.

I thought of a B-ville trip till my daughter & husband decided to have a baby. We will be heading to Phoenix shortly...B-ville next year?

Won't be down there for the nats, but was just down there the 9th of July camping at RedRock.. They had a car show that weekend, but I didn't make it.. Too busy pulling trashfish outta the spillway http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love catching at least one race a year.. nothing like getting dirt/rubber dust all over yourself, watching the sprint cars run, sweating in the summer humidity..

Dam those sprinters rock! I wish I could come, never made it to Knoxville yet. Is Doug Clark still Flaggin? I went to mechanics school with him.
I have been to alot of different kinds of races including a few Nascar but nothing compares to sprinters on a good half mile dirt track. The last time I saw the Outlaws was several years ago in Rapid City.
I've been going to dirt tracks for 35 years and the first race of the season when I hear a sprinter hot lapping still dam near make me pee my pants. Have fun!!
