We went to install and degree the cam in my dads 59A today.
The thing was four degrees retarded when put straight up. We advanced it four degrees but it still was not working out right. (The guy helping me has done this for many years and knows his shit)
Its the one with 332 lift
Am I going to find the same thing with my 400jr?
I have heard some negative mention of isky F/H cams on the board here but cant remember what the problem was, did the cam father made it right or what?
Should I change to a different brand?
Can I get some advice? Thanks Greg

I've run his cams since 58. Only had one with a small problem. Isky is the most apprachable guy you will ever meet.Go to his place before lunch and you will probably be invited to join them for lunch. There is absolutely no doubt that he will talk to you and fix any problem. I just bought another cam from him for my flathead. Great guy!

There is a grinder in Santa Rosa, Earl Edgers, who does outstanding work. He has the late John Delong's cam grinder plus most of DeLong's popular patterns. (DeLong is regarded as one of the really great cam designers, in the same league as Ed Winfield.)

Edgers has been grinding cams for Tardel for several years and every cam has been precisely to spec -- no deviations or surprises.

If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you his phone number.
