Gotta' wonder from the title if there's a show:

"THE ROOKS 3rd Annual ROCKABILLY BALL CAR SHOW!"

Dunno' for certain. All I know is that I'll be there and hope to have the Pan done to drag my ass a mile down the road to it.

I'll also be toting a fifth of my finest shine. Free shots for HAMB'ers http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well... Ive heard rumors of no car show this year..... Something about minibikes and coffins and burnouts....BUT, everyones gotta get there some how. I say there will be a car show regardless....

I'll bring my grey primer 55 chevy 4 door with the dent from rearending someone when the brakes went out, and the craked glass that Im too poor to replace, and the rust that I cant fix because I spend too much time making sure my pomp is shiny and all dangling down in front of my face. But hey thats fine cuz I have a cool hotrod and Im more rockabilly than thou... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif -J.

There is no organized show this year. They're not saying that you can bring a car to the event. Due to liability problems they are not having the car show. the amount of money to put up for the insurance is outrageous. The event is put on by a Tavern, so the liability falls on them if they hold a show and someone decides to do a squirrely burnout into someones storefront. Or worse yet someones kid.
