I have a 55 Chevy more door that I have lowered about 4 inches in the front (cut coils) and 2 in the back (lowering blocks). I am interested in purchasing an air ride suspension to really get it in the weeds. My question is: Does Air Ride Technology have the best air ride system for the $$ or is there a better one out there???

My old car was set up with a system from Air Lift, they were easy to deal with for parts, and quite compatible in price. They are based in Michigan. www.airliftcompany.com (http://www.airliftcompany.com)

check out www.deviouscustoms.com (http://www.deviouscustoms.com) they're a great shop and they do this stuff all day long. They just did a 55 Chevy not long ago that came out awesome and as a bonus, a HAMBer works there (killer).

Ride Tech isn't the cheapest out there, but the quality of their stuff is top notch and their customer service is unbeatable. I have the full shebang on my '92 Caprice Wagon and quite pleased with it. Tony and Bret have been more than helpful when I've needed questions answered or parts.

if you go to a shop that builds the systems to each car or truck. you can get it as low as you want. air ride tech and air lift make kits but they dont sit all that low. most shops charge around 2000-3000 installed. or you could make it all yourself. it isnt all that hard to do.
