I did that to my model A frame, it should be easier since the rail height should be the same. I had some fine threaded 1/4" slugs and bolts that I aquired at an auction. I bolted them through the rivet holes and welded them inside the frame before I boxed it. My X went on the outside. Your X will go on the inside so I surmise the slugs will weld to the inside of the X. You will probably need the pedal set from the car, wouldn't the truck set mount flat as opposed to the angle mount casting that go's to the X? And just in case I put neverseez on the threads I may be able to get the bolts out and back in if need be. If not boxed you can get to the other end and use plain old nuts.

[/ QUOTE ] I feel sure the 47 pickup frame is superior to a 46 passenger frame and does not need the passenger X.

i'm sure the frame rails are stronger but what i'm trying to avoid is torsional twist and i'm pretty sure i don't want to twist the chassis every time i launch
