My good friend JP called me from our local cruise night, saying that Robert DiPietro was there with his coupe (that was in R&C a few years ago). I jumped on the occasion to see one of my favorite cars again, and went there in a hurry.

I looked at that car for quite a while, took some pics, and listened to it when the owner opened the limefires for everyone's enjoyment. The only rods you see around here usually are disproportionate model As fitted to Chevelle frames...

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, another A coupe got to the show. I talked with the owner for quite a while. When my friend JP came by, he started telling the owner how model A crazy I could be, and that if he accepted to give me a ride, id'be the happiest guy around.

Well the guy accepted, and away we went! How cool it was to cruise down the boulevard it that car. When we came back, I had the widest grin ever seen on my face, so much that JP started laughing when he saw me.

I've always been crazy about rods, but now i'm wrecked for life... What a great night!

First pic is the car I took a ride in. Sorry if it's dark, but it was so dark ouside that you barely see anything on the other pics I took of that car.

That is one of the most badass cars I had ever seen. It was at the Syracuse Nats a couple years ago and had to be my favorite car at the whole event... it is the total package. Thanks for more pics of it....I only got two when I saw it in person...they are going on my pc for sure.

Mojo Al, I can't remeber my first ride in a hot rod. But I do know that with my coupe I have never been backward in giving strangers or anyone for that matter a ride and even in may cases a drive. Such a seemingly simple gesture can have a significant impact. I know with children it is especially true. I am of the opinion we as hot rod and custom people need to promote ourselves in a positve way. You never know who the person we may be talking to may be or become. And any good experience people have with hot rods and customs can only be good. Be it winning over more people into what we do or people telling others how nice we are. That young person we may be showing our car to may be a futrue leader of our country, you just never know! Geoff aka Whodaky http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/whodaky/COUPE.jpg
