HOP UP???Can I adapt 55 LINCOLN 12 Drum Brakes to a 50 FORD?

Wasnt someone going to try this?
I have a '55 Lincoln and I was looking at the backing plates etc and got to thinking... They're huge 12" brakes and they look like the same kingpin setup as my shoebox.

Has anyone done this or know if it'll work.
