seagrave fire trucks

[1937 seagrave]

hello all I recently found a 1937 seagrave tht the fire dept I run with bought new.I do not know much about flat head motors but need to learn since the truck has a flat head 8 cyl that i need to get running. any inf would be great about the wireing it has ac delco ignition thanks

Actually this is just the intro forum. Your question would be better answered if its posted on the main forum.

Don't know much about those myself. Is it the v12? I believe it is the same motor Pierce Arrow built and Seagrave later bought the tooling an used for firetrucks for years.
