1954 Stude pickup questions

My brother is contemplating buying a 54 Stude pickup, mostly complete, flatty 6.

Any place that sells patch panels for the lower door fronts?

I dont know squat about these trucks any websites full of info?

I do see the 54 was a one year model, will that be a problem or do the earlier years have swapable parts?

I think the 54 cab is the same through 49, those panels are not too conplex to bend up some sheetmetal and weld, the little bumps on the front lower corner are a bit more complex, their are a lot of stude sites, but sheet metal is expensice as a repop.
