econoline axles and steering

I am wondering if any of you have ever modified an econoline axle to use on a model A suspension. Also thinking about the steerin box and rear end. I j\know where I can score a couple for near free which fits my budget.

BTW I made this post earlier and unless I am blind or something it seems to have disappeared ( along with several I made last night)
