oil question

Last oil change I used semi-synthetic oil, and now have leaks that weren't there before. Is there any reason I couldn't switch back? Just want to be sure there would be no problem mixing conventional oil with what little synthetic is left in the engine. thanks

Shouldn't have a problem. Most of the new synthetics will say on the package if its conpatible with conventional oils or not.

the synthetic oil has a smaller molecule than conventional oil so it will find the smaller holes. semi-synthretic is just a mixture of conventional and synthetic. no problem to change back i'm sure.
