Here is the first one of the new shift knobs Ive painted still need work but its close to being done. Little more work than the day of the dead skulls but still came out pretty good for my first one. Got air bubbles in the mold problems but nothing glazecoat cant fix.

Jeff's a real nice guy...haven't seen him for a little while...hope he's doin well!
Try taking the pic outside. I'm the last person totake camera tips from...I always have flash spots or weird angles goin on. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I guess you're not using a digital camera? Hell...take it to Jeff...he's a tattoo artist...they usually take decent pics!

Jeff did just buy a digital camera yet he dosnt know how to use a computer and he is doing well at that new shop. Ive been hounding him to get his chevy on the road but he's preocupied with this triumph spitfire he got for a tatoo. I own the worlds oldest digital camera the pics always look good till I down load em.

Looks like your camera can't do macro. Back off a few inches and try again. It won't fill the frame, but it should be sharper. Then just crop around the knob instead of resizing it.

<font color="green">Yeah,
I'd buy one.
Did you say how much, I'm too lazy to go back and look.
Maybe you should just insert an "artist rendering", you know, some crayons or something, until you get the camera issue squared away.
I'm just crackin yo Pecans, before you start calling me bully or something.
You DO need to meet Barnett and if you bring yo booty to Pistons & Paint, you will have that opportunity.
As well as the chance to meet me. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I want mine in green by the way, like my self portrait over there under my name.
Can you do that?

Stand farther away. You won't be able to frame the subject as well, but you will get a clearer picture. Once you have it on the computer you can crop it.

Yeah I can do green that was already the plan on the next one I paint. Since these take more time to crank out in going with $40. I'll probably hit the pistons and paint speaking of I need to get my ass out there under my car and make its rusty ass driveable.
