Looking for a particular shade of Navy and Ivory. Thinking a 40's Ford color chip would be really close. Any websites out there with cross reference charts?

Thanks

Someone referred me to:

www.autocolorlibrary.com (http://www.autocolorlibrary.com)

yesterday.. Their database was down, but supposedly when it works, it's covers a lot of years.

You might email them on the 'contact us' page though...

PPG Concept is the finish we used on my roadster -- '36 Ford Washington Blue. There was an excellent unrestored original Washingtin Blue '36 Ford five-window coupe in Tardel's shop about the time we painted the roadster, and the PPG color was a dead-nuts match for the original color on the pillars and on the door jambs of the '36. We were impressed.

Mike, that sounds like the color I had in mind. You don't happen to have a color code do ya?

Yes, it is planned to be a non metallic. Just wondering about the gloss retention etc.

www.paintscratch.com (http://www.paintscratch.com) will show you where to find the color code on your car and they stock factry colors back through the fifties I believe. Havent bought anything from them but am planning on it.
