stupid sbc question

how bad will this work?

stock 1976 sbc with 194 heads and hie
open diff with a th350 stock
single plain torqer 2 intake
comp cam 296 cam
with a qudrajunk

am i asking for trouble with this set up or will it work half assed?

Too much cam, I wouldn't go more than a 280 with that set up.

That single plane manifold might give you some problems on the stocker motor, but I have no experience with it, just what I've heard.

It is way too much cam!, i'm running a 280H comp cam with 3 dueces & its too much, they say a 268 is about the best.
I ran a single plane torquer manifold & it ran fine.

It will sound pretty good, but thats way too much cam to run well with what you have....

The intake will be perfect...the Torker II rocks on a mild 350.

The Quadraslob will be cool if ya got a good one, but a Holley 750 vacuum secondaries would be better. No biggie...if ya got the Quadrabogger...use it!

The cam is too big and it's a square pattern paperweight...right out of somebody's garbage truck or lawnmower...but it'll sound kinda neat and it's better than the wiped out stocker with collapsed lifters ya got now (barely!).

Ha Ha Ha...don't sweat it...you'll find it will FLY on the freeway...something you will dig on your upcoming road trip...second gear will change your religion!

Here's one I've done 3 times....

stock 350, Comp 270 cam, and Performer RPM intake, whatever carb.

They sound real good and run much, much better than stock with that trash truck cam in there.

There are no stupid questions when it comes to the SBC.

Fuck it, put the big cam in it, run the good gas (Turbo Blue), so then it will be all lumpy and when people smell the racing gas they will think you got the badest car in town.
